Sorry I haven’t been around for the last couple of months. I’ve been dealing with a concussion and whiplash. It’s been a pretty challenging time.

Thank you for those of you who have reached out to me. You all are just wonderful women! 💕 I hope to be back to posting again soon!

Women going through menopause are not having their

Women going through menopause are not having their needs and concerns met. This is a fact.

A survey in 2020 indicated that 78% of women said Menopause had affected their lives. And 32% of those women in that same survey didn’t feel like they could talk to their doctor about their concerns!

And a study in 2021 indicated that 73% of women were not treating their Menopause symptoms. And even though 72% were familiar with HRT, 65% would not consider using it unless their healthcare provider recommended it or further studies prove its safety (despite the Women’s Health Initiative study being highly criticized for being flawed).

Why are we suffering? Why are we allowing women to suffer?!

If you’re experiencing symptoms of Perimenopause and Menopause that are affecting your day to day life, please talk to your healthcare provider. And if you don’t get the answers you need, get a second opinion.

A resource for Canadian women looking for certified Menopause practitioners is The Menopause Foundation of Canada where you can look up practitioners in your area.

Truth! Although it can be uncomfortable, self-improvement affects all parts of your life.

It is a transformative journey that has the power to positively impact all aspects of your life.

By consciously working on personal growth, we can enhance our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Engaging in regular exercise and adopting healthy habits not only strengthens the body but also increases energy levels and improves overall productivity.

Developing new skills and expanding knowledge through learning broadens our horizons and opens doors to exciting opportunities.

Cultivating self-awareness and emotional intelligence leads to healthier relationships, effective communication, and better conflict resolution.

Setting and striving for meaningful goals builds resilience, fosters a sense of purpose, and instills a strong sense of self-esteem.

Ultimately, self-improvement is an ongoing process that empowers us to unlock our full potential, creating a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Life is precious and not guaranteed. At midlife we need to prioritize pursuing what we truly desire.

Waiting for the perfect moment or the right circumstances prolongs our own happiness and fulfillment.

We all know how quickly time passes. So if we delay our aspirations, we risk missing out on joy, self-discovery, and personal growth that comes with pursuing our dreams.

It is difficult- believe me, I know. I left a job I loved (mostly) for something that allowed me to pursue doing the things that make me feel complete.

Let go of your doubts and fears and embrace this transformative phase of life. Make the move towards your dreams, because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

This is so true. Not only for what we are putting

This is so true. Not only for what we are putting into the world , but who might be “infecting” or “affecting” ourselves.

Do you try to be around those with joyful energy? And avoid those with negative energy? I know I sure do.

Sometimes it’s difficult though- if they are family or good friends. And it can make us feel torn whether to be around them or not.

My caregiver/empath part of me always wants to help others and accept others for who they are, but sometimes I’m drawn in too much and take on their negative energy and it brings me down too. I’ve had to be cautious with whom I spend a lot of time with. And in the end, I’ve lost some relationships because of it. But I’ve also been able to protect my energy and stay true to myself.
